News and Announcements

Hello Panther Fans,

Just sending this reminder that registration is still open until June 30 so for those of you who still need to register please go to www.csyfa.com to complete your registration. We continue to see great community support for the CSYFA program and look forward to seeing as many kids as possible join.

Again, please mark this date down, Sunday July 21, as it will be most important to attend this year’s equipment handout. We have changed our jersey supplier and will be having them fitted with shoulder pads on at equipment handout. We are changing to local supplier that will allow us to have our jerseys before the first game of season. These new jerseys will be name plated at time of creation. It is our hopes that if this jersey process sees positive feedback this year we could be able to provide 2 sided (home and away colors) in next year’s jersey. CSYFA is doing our best to be as cost efficient as possible with this process. For those first 20 kids who registered this year we will still have an earlier date to do your equipment handout. For those who cannot make equipment handout please look to contact CSYFA in July as early as possible so we can make arrangements to at least get a jersey fitting in prior to actual equipment handout.

We would like to remind all about the sponsorship registration cost reduction opportunity, we are actively looking for sponsors in the CSYFA and for those families who are looking for a way to get a discounted entry fee please visit the CSYFA website and check out the “SPONSORSHIP NEW link to see how to reduce your costs.

Please look for future emails concerning upcoming CSYFA dates about events.

Once again, we are looking forward to a great 2019 season.

Go Panthers!

Hello Panther Families,

Hope everyone has had a great spring. CSYFA is actively preparing for the upcoming season. We are excited for all the kids, coaches, and parents who help make this community football program positive.

First off, please note, registration is open until June 30. For those of you who still would like to register, please go to www.csyfa.com to complete your registration. We have seen a good amount of registration but would always love to see more kids take advantage of this great sport of football.

Secondly, please mark this date down—Sunday, July 21. It is extremely important to attend this year’s equipment handout. We have changed our jersey supplier, and will be having them fitted (with shoulder pads on) at equipment handout. We are changing to local supplier that will allow us to have our jerseys before the first game of season. These new jerseys will be name plated at time of creation. It is our hope, that if this jersey process sees positive feedback this year, we would be able to provide a reversible (2 sided home and away colors) jersey for next year.

The third item we would like to address is sponsorship. We are actively looking for sponsors in the CSYFA. For those families who are looking for a way to get a discounted entry fee, please visit the CSYFA website and check out the “SPONSORSHIP NEW link (as shown below) to see how to reduce your costs.

We would like to thank the Carol Stream Community. The fundraising event we held at the local Jewel called “Shake the Can”, resulted in over US$900.00 which will allow CSYFA to purchase new football equipment for the program. We were also approved by USA Football for a Riddell Equipment grant that will allow us some further equipment to purchase.

Lastly, CSYFA would like to thank Glenbard North High School Football Head Coach Wilkins, his Assistants, and the GBN Football players for their continued support of CSYFA football and their many skills clinics they have hosted these last few months for our boys.

Please look for future emails concerning upcoming CSYFA dates about events.

Once again, we are looking forward to a great 2019 season.

Panther Families,

Hope everyone of you had a great holiday weekend. CSYFA is very excited about the upcoming year as we get closer to Football season. We appreciate all those Panther Families that took advantage of the early registration rates prior to the April 15 date. Here are some upcoming dates:

We will have another chance for families to take advantage of registering for football at early registration rates (US$200.00 for Flag and US$300.00 for Tackle) as on CSYFA 2019 Sponsor Rockin Jump will be hosting a Registration Party on Friday May 3, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm. For those kids who register May 3 or are registered will get to jump for 1 hour FREE. If the kids want to jump more than 1 hour they are offering US$8.00 for an extra 30 minutes or US$10.00 for Unlimited jump until they close. If the kids who have registered want their siblings to jump they can jump for US$10.00 for 1 hour. Rockin Jump socks will be sold to all those that enter for US$2.00 per pair.

As we are a non-for-profit organization and are trying our best to keep registration rates at their current levels even though our costs for everything (practice lights, fields, jerseys, insurance, etc.) keep increasing we are looking not only for more sponsors this year but more ways to raise money for the organization. We are going to be looking for all Panther players to participate in a “Shake the Can” fundraiser at Carol Stream Jewel on Saturday May 11th from 10am – 2pm. We will be working with all the CSYFA coaches to have a team come to Jewel for 45 minutes to help raise money for CSYFA. Hopefully we can see some great participation from all the kids.

CSYFA is actively planning more fundraising events and are still looking for Sponsorship. If anyone needs any information about CSYFA sponsorship please visit www.csyfa.com.

Lastly our next monthly CSYFA Board Meeting will be held on Monday May 13 at 7pm at Simkus Rec Center. These meetings are open to all Panther Families.

Hope to see all the kids and Panther families at the upcoming events.

We would like to welcome Pat Mercadante (Equipment Manager) and Nick Kramer (Coaches Liaison) to the CSYFA. We appreciate their volunteering to make the kids experience a positive one.

Also, we would like to welcome a new sponsor to CSYFA Rosati’s of Carol Stream/Geneva (https://myrosatis.com/carolstreamgeneva/).

We are always looking for new sponsors to help keep the costs for the kids where they are at. We also offer incentives if you bring a new sponsor to CSYFA. Check out the Sponsorship tab on CSYFA website for details on that. The actual Sponsorship form can be found under the Documents section of the website (lower left side).
